Dear Jim and Cindy, I joined the Health Club about 18 mos. ago and since that time I have lost 15 lbs., my blood pressure has dropped to optimal levels and my recent bone density test results indicate that I have actually increased bone mass in my spine since the last test done in ’99 putting those levels! within normal limits. According to my doctor, these good results are all directly due to the weight training I have been doing at the Club. I know that the mental aspects of the increased physical strength, while they may not be quantifiable, are definitely a plus raising self-esteem and mental awareness. Overall, I am feeling very good and I wanted to thank you both for providing this wonderful service to downtown employees. I would like to encourage anyone who wants to feel better and improve their self-image to join the Downtown Health Club now and commit to a healthier and more fit 2006. On Labor Day weekend of 2006 I was 215 lbs. & got winded tying my shoes.
Being 5’ 10” tall & small framed, I was totally out of shape. I also
felt very unhappy about how badly I let my once great (or so I thought)
physical condition become. I did not want to continue to live my life this
way; I knew something had to be done for me to get back in shape.
I joined the Downtown Health Club, which is 3
blocks away from where I work in downtown Fort Myers. So I knew that I would
have no excuses for giving myself reasons to miss exercising. I asked
Cindy & Jim for their help.
Jim suggested that I pre-condition myself & get
my body, gradually, into a good physical regime. So I purchased a
“block” of initial personal training sessions with Jim. I went on a
1500 calorie per day diet & trained. Jim began by being very easy with
me & gradually bringing my body back
to levels where I could begin to train again. I added in aerobic activities
(i.e.; walking) & followed, very closely, the suggestions that Jim gave
me.
After the initial personal training sessions concluded, I continued
on with my routine & the weight, started to come off. I started to feel
my body respond & I knew that I was ready to make the commitment to
train with Jim on his Advanced E.S.P Bodybuilding Program.
At the beginning of December 2006, I was pre-conditioned &
ready…. I committed myself to 10 weeks working with Jim using his
scientifically based routine. I purchased the supplements for muscle &
strength made by “Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals” that Cindy & Jim had just
started to carry. After only 2 weeks on
Jim’s advanced training, not only could I feel my body responding,
I could see the results!!!
I am an engineer, which means that I’m generally quite skeptical
(when it comes to data). You have to “show me” the statistics to back up
any claim or argument. Jason measured me, using the calipers, on December
14, 2006 & then again on January 22, 2007.

This was incredible!!! In just six weeks I had reduced my BF % by 7%,
lost nearly 12 lbs. of BF and “built” over 20 lbs. of
Lean Body Mass (= New Muscle!!).
Being 41 (nearly 42) years of age, I did not think such results were
possible! The routine, although demanding, did not leave me in pain or
overly “sore”, after my workouts. But, the results came & keep on
coming.
I owe many thanks to Jim & Cindy for giving me the opportunity to make
this happen.
